problems in a workbook add lines

What happens exactly? Do you get a message from Excel? If so, which message?
- Nothing happens, the screen flickers but there is no movement of a cell if I try to insert a cell or if I try a lie nothing happens.
- If you start typing on the first empty cell below a table, does the table extend its range?
Where does pressing control+End take you?- I tested this. If I go to sheet in the workbook that will not let me insert lines and control+end it takes me to the last line.
If I type new lines and go to A1 and type again control+end it go to the NEW last line.
If I go to another sheet in the same workbook and do the control+end it takes me past the last line of data. if I type on lines to make the last line past the original last line that the control+end it takes me to correct last line, but if I clear or delete the added lines it them sets the line the new last liine.
