Problem with personal.xlsb
Hi,
Recently I updated my computer. Then, it became slower to open files, documents.. But my biggest problem is that every Excel file I have is opened as Read Mode only, even the new ones can’t be modified.
That because when I open Excel, a message says more or less : « PERSONAL.XLSB is locked, your document is in Read Mode » (sorry for the bad translation from French).
Anyway, I can’t work and can’t find C:/Users/Profil etc... where the VBA files that doesn’t work is sais to be.. Can toi help me? I am on an intership where I really need Excel to work on big data bases

- personal.xlsb can be found by typing this in Windows Explorer's address bar and hitting enter:
%appdata%\microsoft\excel\xlstart
I would first try to restart your computer, maybe a (hidden) instance of Excel is still open.
