Problem with converting data

Hello everybody, my first post here. I am having problems with converting dates from text as follows:

As you can see, there is no triangle at the upper left corner to indicate the error and the error checking is already ticked. If I press  F2+Enter, the date corrects itself as follows:

the amount of data is massive for me to do it manually, so does anyone know how to apply this to all cells?

Thanks in advance.

  • Hello, what you need to do is simple
    1. Click in the data and press CTRL + T to format as Excel Table
    2. In the Get & Transform group in the Data tab, click on From Table/Range

The data will be loaded into the Power Query editor and the date will Automatically fix itself.

After that, just click on Close & Load... This will load back to the spreadsheet

Glad to help. Yes, it will create a new sheet when the result is loaded back to Excel...
