Probabilty
I'm trying to find the probability of a number being drawn from a1 to a41 cells. I'm labeling the numbers 1 that are being drawn sporadically. I'm trying to find the probability for a42 cell being drawn. (Like a lottery). Thanks, Ann

I'm afraid I need some clarification on your problem before I can provide an answer:
- Is the cell A42 a value contained inside the range A1:A41?
- Are the values in A1:A41 all unique? Are some duplicates?
- Are you looking for the probability of drawing A42 after only one draw? After multiple unsuccessful draws?
