Printing on Excel
Print Preview is only in two clicks File->Print, or one shortcut Ctrl+F2. Here you may select from drop-down menu what to print - current sheet (or sheets of you selected few) or entire workbook.

Sergei, many thanks for taking the time to reply, I'm afraid I've tried 'File'>'Print' and there is no option to select 'Print preview'. The only way I've found it is 'Page Layout'>'Margins'>'Custom Margins'>'Print preview' and that's a lot of faffing about for a simple command. As for my query re printing, again I've tried the options you suggest without success. When I come to print the page the view of the page only says one sheet? When I typed the page I carried on down onto what should have been a second sheet but it's not coming up on the print options

On which version of Excel you are?
On more or less modern with File->Print you are on print preview page. By default it show active sheet (one page from one)
If I select Entire workbook, it'll be two pages to print (I have 2 sheets in the workbook)

Sergei, you're right re the print preview, the page does come up on the Print page. I was thinking of the 'print preview' which allows you to alter the page. With reference your copies of the print page I think the problem is that at the bottom of my screen it's only showing 'Page 1 of 1' so I don't know where the rest of the page has gone.
My Excel version shows as 16.0.12430.20264
