Printer

I have managed to delete a printer with a print job with an error.  I subsequently added the same printer resulting in two printers listed in the print device list in Excel that I believe are conflicting.  The result is that print jobs with new printer error out.  How do I delete this old version my printer from the list of available printers?  Any help will be much appreciated.
