Prevent conversion to scientific notation

Question

Commonly, I have to paste part&nbsp;identities into excel that are in the format 1234561E1. Excel automatically converts them to scientific notation 123E+07. If I change the format to text it becomes 12345610 and the correct id is lost. Is there any way of preventing Excel from doing this conversion.&nbsp;
