PowerPivot Data Model will not capture new data

Hi all, I'm getting desperate.  I have multiple excel tables, formatted as tables with names, and added to my PowerPivot Data model.  I used PowerPivot to create my Pivottables and things worked great in the beginning. However, any time I add new rows to any of my Excel data tables, the Data model REFUSES to recognize new data exists.

I have refreshed all within the Data model, ensured my tables are resized to capture the new data, and still no luck.   The ONLY solution that seems to work is to convert all my data tables back to ranges, then format again as tables and rename with the same name they had when loaded to the Data Model.  Then when refreshing all within the Data Model, the new data is captured.  This is NOT sustainable for end users.  I should note that this seems to happen with any of my workbooks, so I must be doing something wrong, but I cannot figure out what.
