Postcode sorting with in the uk
Hi I have place all the postcodes in to column A is there a function that will separate them in to individual area so ba and bs would go in to individual columns

Chrisw82 I don't know what "ba and bs" means, but on the Data ribbon you can use Text-to-Columns, provided that the "ba and bs" are always in the same position within the text string.
If this makes no sense, why not upload your list so that it becomes clear as to what you are dealing with.
