PivotTable conversion Windows to Mac

Hi!

I am working in a Windows based company but use my personal Mac to work on.

My collegae has created an Excel file on his Windows pc containing a PivotTable. When I open this file on my MacBook, it does not recognize the PivotTable as a PivotTable; it does not show the PivotTable Fields list. We use OneDrive to save the file on so we can work in it together.

Is there a conversion issue between Excel for Windows and Excel for Mac what causes this issue? Or is something else causing this?

Thanks!

iLucas460 I suspect your colleague used the Data Model / Power Pivot. That's, unfortunately, NOT supported on the Mac. There's no way you can use it on a Mac if you don't install Windows and Excel on a virtual machine on your Mac.
