Pivot Table?

I have a table of four columns: height, length, width and number. I need to gather the data in a new table where all the instances with the same height, length and width are aggregated and where the values in column four (the numbers) are summed. Can I use a pivot table for this? If so, how do I do it when there are three different conditions?

Yes, you can do Insert => PivotTable, set your H L and W as Row Labels, and then the Number as a Value.

Savia Thank you. I tried that, but I get this "layout" back :

Is it possible to get a pivot table in the same format as the original table with four columns do you think?

camilla2312 Yes - Under the PivotTable options Design menu, change the Report Layout to Tabular, and switch off any subtotals.
