Pivot Table Recommendations List

Hi I am trying to utilize a pivot table but it appears the recommended table list will not show up. I can go back to a different file and it shows up. Even when I copy the other table into the current excel sheet the recommended list appears but only for that table. When I try to click on the recommended pivot table from my new table it gives an error message that there are too many blank cells. anyone have this problem or have a fix for it. I have some snapshots below.

    The data in your table are not suitable for a pivot table since the values in the first column are all different. A pivot table always summarizes data.
