Pivot Table Groupings lost after Updating Data Source
Hello all I have a workbook that is used in many sites with sensitive data. As development is done we want to roll out changes from a master workbook. We are using Move or Copy sheet to accomplish this.
The problem we are facing is that the source sheets contain Pivot tables. After Move or Copy, the destination sheet has the data source set to the source workbook. We click in the pivot tables in the destination and click Change Data Source.
After editing the data source to remove the reference to the source workbook, the groupings on the pivot tables is lost. The groupings are manually created number groupings. So we're looking for a reliable way to copy entire sheets across workbooks, or a way to retain the groupings after the copy has taken place and the data source has been updated. Any help that can be offered gratefully received. TIA Tracey

Tracey,
if you change the data source you change the fields.
If you change the fields the grouping is lost.
