Pivot Table group by month
I am trying to group the columns of my pivot table by month, but when I right click on the date to to group I get a message saying "Cannot group that selection." I have made sure that the source ...
I have found that formatting sometimes is only part of the issue. I've also had to convert the text by going to Data, Text to Columns. On the third step of the wizard, select your date format. After that, select your column & format the date, but do not select a date format with the asterisk.
