Pivot table dates with overlapping years
Hoping someone can help with a simple pivot table question - I'm grouping by months to reflect the progress on a project that started in April 2019 and is still ongoing. My challenge is displaying the month/year combination so that that dates appear in chronological order. What I'm seeing is Jan, Feb, Mar ... instead of what I'd like to see (April 2019, May 2019, etc. through to April 2020 and May 2020).
I suspect this is easy to do, but I'm having no luck changing the date format in the pivot table to display the data in order of the project timeframe.
Source data for the pivot table in some cache file on your local drive
Hard to say what's within it. If build PivoTable based on data in your file, dates are shown correctly and you may group/format them as needed.
