Pivot Table ad timeline axis
Hi,
I have a pivot table that shows gross profit of our projects, the basic data contains revenue, costs and end date of the projects. I want to ad a timeline axis (end date) on the top of the graph. I would also like to ad a line showing rolling 12 months values. I'll appreciate any advice how to do this. Thanks /Claudia

Hi ClaudiaM1
I'm not exactly sure what you mean by adding a timeline axis at the top of the chartYou can add a timeline slicer like this...
Also, to add a rolling 12 months average would likely require you to use Power Pivot and DAX which is something that's too involved to explain in this forum unless you are already experienced with those features.

Hi, Wyn Hopkins
Thank you for your reply, yes I know how ta ad a timeline slicer, I was thinking about adding end date as an axis above the chart like my drawing 😉
Unfortunately I'm not familiarized to Power Pivot and DAX, is it very difficult to learn?

- Hi Claudia
Apologies, but I don't quite understand how you are trying to display your axis with that drawing. You can only have 1 x axis on a chart.
DAX is time consuming to master but you can learn the basics pretty quickly
I'd recommend the Power Pivot Pro book https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1615470395/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=1615470395&linkCode=as2&tag=powe022-20&linkId=QHM62FCPUOXVRTIJ
