Excel has calendar templates that you can use for personal planning (File > New and search “calendar” or from Microsoft templates: https://create.microsoft.com/en-us/excel-templates).

You can also build a simple calendar using formulas and conditional formatting, for example =A2=TODAY() to highlight the current date.

However, Excel does not support automatic notifications or reminders like a calendar application.

For real-time alerts, Outlook or another calendar app should be used instead, as Excel alone cannot send notifications.
