Permissions On A Shared Excel File

Hi All,

 

I need some help please.

 

I am trying to set up a shared/co-authored excel spreadsheet for our company accessible via my OneDrive account.

 

I have set it all up and added user permissions for a range which works when the file is accessed by myself to test locally but as soon as I try and use excel online to co author the sheet I am told that the sheet is protected and cannot edit the cells. I want all staff to be able to edit this range but even when I set "All Staff" from the list of users in permissions it doesn't seem to work.

 

I am guessing this is because the permissions are "local" and for some reason anyone even with the link I provide is still being seen as a Guest.

 

How do I correct this issue?
