Padé approximants instead of Polynomial approximation: How with Excel?
I am looking for some Excel tools for approximating large numbers of data points fi(xi) from some simulations with Padé approximants instead of approximating them, as presently, with polynomials (RGP). Can you provide some help, or do you know who might help ?

- JKPieterseSilver ContributorPerhaps you can try my Non-Linear Least Squares contraption:

JKPieterseThank you, Jan, for indicating your program. Is there some more information on it before downloading and installing it? This tool can indeed be of interest. However, for the analysis of the current data I would rather prefer using Padé approximants.
- JKPieterseSilver ContributorIt is not much more than an Excel file. I tried to explain everything inside the file so for an explanation you'll have to download it 🙂
