One way Dependent cells
Hello Everyone, Can someone explain me how to create two columns that make it possible to have dependent cells. For example: In the first column I will write "A" and the second column I want to ...
On top of that, there will be +500 variables, which means it is not practical to add 500 different condition to the formula bar.
Can you show some sample and desired output?
- Sure Harun. For instance, there are many people in the list. The people can be labelled as person 1, person2, person3, person 4, ......,person99, person100 and their e-mail adresses accordingly, email address removed for privacy reasons, email address removed for privacy reasons,....,email address removed for privacy reasons. I want to apply a command to achieve name-mail adress matching. When I write person3 I want to get email address removed for privacy reasons in the next column.
However, I cannot use the "IF" function. Because if I use that using formula bar will not be easy for updating the list in the coming months.- You can use vlookup, xlookup, index-match or offset functions for that kind of matching.
