old 2007 excel spreadsheets

I am 84years old and trying to do the spreadsheet like my checkbook

here is my problem:

I have auto payout on different days.  Therefore, i want the payouts to show that they have been released on the specfic date. this will correspond with my check book.

sample: date-description,paymt,bal.

on date 15 i want spredsheet to show in balance on that date.

next date for payout.  let spreadsheet show payout reflecting in balance.

can only one help me?
