Note repositioning

Question

How does one reposition a Note in Excel (16.97 Mac) and have it stay there rather than reverting back to to the Excel default?

How about by adjust manually:
&nbsp;

Right-click the cell containing the Note.
Select Edit Note.
Drag the Note to your desired position.
Click outside the Note to save the position.
