No autosave button on new workbook.
Hi All,
When I open a new blank workbook in Excel desktop version a grayed out auto save button is not sitting in the banner. It is not in commands list either.
This happened before with an existing workbook I pulled from oneDrive, opened in desktop version to edit - no auto save. --> Got this one back by doing an office repair but was grayed out. Re-saved with new file path to oneDrive and all was fine.
What would be going on with the new blank workbook issue?
The Autosave option is only available to workbooks opened (or saved to) from OneDrive or Sharepoint locations. If you need an independent Autosave, consider:
