New to Forum tip page

If this exists, can it be more prominent, if it doesn't would it be possible to have a tip page created and maybe linked in the Excel Forum header for new members to see?  I keep seeing new members make the same mistakes and nearly the same responses from the community (e.g. please attach a sample sheet...).  Here is a start for what I would suggest and maybe others could add to it:

WELCOME to the Excel Forum. For best success, search previous posts to see if your question is already answered.  Next, include as much information as possible. It is best if you can include a sample workbook to show what you have, how it is set up and ideally an example of the desired output or the problem you're having (but please remove/replace any personal or confidential info. with fictitious info).  When your issue is complete, help future people in need by selecting the answer that was most helpful and marking it as Best Response. Remember most of the community here are volunteers so show them your appreciation, like their efforts, and mark their Best Responses.

mtarler Another tip would be if they have another problem/question not directly related to the original, for best results they should post it as a new question.

I would suggest, if the poster is including a screenshot, use the snipping tool and not a print screen. The print screen image is reduced, can be very blurry, and is often hard to see.

mtarler , that's a great idea. I'd add if people mention on which Excel they are (365 Windows desktop, Mac, Online, etc.). That could be pinned post which is on the top of all others.

cuong , could you please help with this?
