new line in same cell
Using ALT and Enter does not give me a new line in same cell
I've seen alt+enter not work when someone had been remoting into a workspace to use Excel. Also, it could be one of those things that is resolved simply by restarting the computer.
- Make sure that Wrap Text has been turned on for the cell.
- Make sure that you use the left Alt key. Sometimes right Alt key+Enter doesn't work.
- If the above does not work, try Windows key+Alt+Enter.
Hi Hans, Wrap Text is on and I'm trying to use left alt. (I've also tried right).
Where is the Windows key on the Apple Magic keyboard?
The Windows key is for Windows only. You hadn't mentioned that you're on Mac.
Does Option+Enter work? Or Control+Option+Enter?
