New excel feature proposal for disabling PASTE

I make large use of excel templates and data validation rules; the issue is to prevent users doing paste thus overriding the data validation rules. I used VBA to prevent this with partial success (i.e., MAC users etc.). Wouldn't be an idea to introduce a "disable paste" under the Protect sheet options menu?
