Need help with formula!

Hi all,

I need help with a formula to find a result sorting the data in two columns.

there are multiple entries for each group in column A, and each entry has a corresponding weight in column C.

I need to find the maximum weight for each group and maximum weight for two combinations of groups.

Hopefully the sheet attached is self explanatory.
