Need help in excel
Hello, I'm trying to clear premium and commission in my subledger by company name. I need to clear by oldest to newest dates. The batch doesn't have to equal exactly the amount I'm clearing since I can clear it partially. My goal is to ultimately clear a batch of data with the oldest dates closer to my clearing number for premium and commission. I know I can do a pivot to summarize the dates but is there any other formula or idea out there that can help me batch some of these dates? I clear by doc number so the doc number is unique for each item.

You've had over 40 views and no replies. I strongly suspect that the lack of replies is due to the lack of clarity in what you're trying to do. You're using terminology that is no doubt clear to you, but ambiguous at best to those of us not familiar with what you mean by "clear" for example. It's a common word, of course, but you have something specific in mind.
I hope that makes the point clear. You could help us help you by being more descriptive on the nature of the task.
It also would help -- you've clearly done the work already to render the specific company names anonymous -- if you'd post a copy of the actual spreadsheet rather than just images. Put it on OneDrive or GoogleDrive with a link pasted here that grants access.
