Need help connecting to a database in Power Query through excel.

Question

Hi everyone,&nbsp;I am having issues connecting to a database in Power Query within excel. I get the following error:&nbsp;"Details: "Microsoft SQL: A connection was successfully established with the server, but then an error occurred during the login process. (provider: SSL Provider, error: 0 - The certificate chain was issued by an authority that is not trusted.)"&nbsp;I have no issues connecting to the server and database in a database tool. Not sure how to troubleshoot this or what is the best approach to take. Any suggestions would be helpful.&nbsp;&nbsp;Thanks in advance!

JKPieterse&nbsp;Thank you for your response, I was able to resolve the issue. I had to clear permissions and when attempting to use credentials use the Windows credentials option only.&nbsp; Leaving the solution here for anyone else with this problem.
