Need help - excel 2016 standalone
Hi all,
I have office 2016 home and student installed. This version does not have power pivot which sucks. So I bought the standalone version from Ms and installed. I still do not see PP. I uninstalled just the excel portion of office 2016 home and student.
When I did this, I still saw excel, not sure why? What do I need to do to ensure I have the standalone version of excel for power pivot?

Hi Sean,
Standalone version shall have Power Pivot. Please go File->Options->Add-ins->Com->Go and check it here
Reload Excel after that.

Oops, sorry. To my knowledge Office 365 can't be installed side-to-side with standalone Office products with exception of Visio 2016 and Project 2016 (MSI installation with volume license key).
