My important file corrupted and I need help
When I tried to open it, it said that "The file format and extension of 'filename.xls' don't match. The file could be corrupted or unsafe. Unless you trust its source, don't open it. Do you want to open it anyway"
I tried some methods like open and repair, convert .xls to .xlxs, change the calculation option to manual but none worked. Can someone help me revive this file please

If you rename it as .txt and open in Notepad there is no information within file. Unfortunately it looks like information is lost. Perhaps you may find another copy of it.
