My chart menu in Excel is grayed out. I am unable to create/maintain charts in Excel. Why. How can I fix this
It sounds to me the worksheet is protected?
If this is the case, then on the Review ribbon, click Unprotect Sheet.
If issue still persist , please provide more details such as screenshots and version of Excel you are using.

I have Microsoft 365 subscription based EXCEL. After almost a year with the same workbook/worksheet, I suddenly find that I cannot do simple graphs/charts that I had been doing routinely. I do not have the same menu items as some of the online solutions have referenced,
