Missing lines on my Excell worksheet

Hello,

After updating my log, I do a lot of coping and pasting but have noticed the next day there are lines missing. Not sure what is going on.

Kinda hard to diagnose from a distance without a more complete description -- a LOT more details. Were those lines there when you shut down at the end of the prior day? Does anybody else have access? How long has it been going on? How many lines? Are those lines in the middle, end, top, left, right? Anything particularly unusual about the missing lines? the not=missing lines?

You say AFTER updating the log, you do a lot of copying and pasting. But is that somewhere other than in the log? Are the lines missing from the log?

    You get the idea.

      Mathetes,

Yes, the lines with the info are there when I shut the log down at night. I send out the report everyday so yes others have access to it. This has been going on for about two months now. Sometimes they are in the middle or beginning of the report. Lines go missing from the log.
I have even copied everything and started a new excell log thinking that maybe it was corrupt.

You still have other questions unanswered. e.g., Is there anything distinctive about--unique to--the lines that are missing? Same question in reverse, unique or distinctive to the lines that remain? And so forth. Go back and read my original set of questions and try to answer them all, as well as any others that those prompt. For a diagnosis--a finding of cause--one needs a complete and precise description of symptoms. Answers to such questions as:

        • What happens that's unexpected or undesired? [you've basically answered this one]
        • When does it happen? When does it not happen but might? What's different about those times?
        • Where does it happen (in the table, in this case)? What's different about the rows that disappear; that stay?
        • How extensive is this disappearance? How many rows? etc.

Is it possible for you to post a copy of the actual spreadsheet? I'm assuming not, but if the data are not confidential, it would go a long way toward enabling us to help you if you could put a copy of it on OneDrive or GoogleDrive, with a link here that grants access. Otherwise we're all dependent on verbal descriptions, and those can only go so far.
