Microsoft Excel 2007 with Windows 10. Hyperlink does not work when calling a web page
Data hyperlink worked OK in past but now does not function. Tried all web suggestions under proofing. Tried re-installing Excel. Verified the hyperlink web file is OK by selecting it separately but not in Excel. Checked Firefox brouser. No issues. Tried Microsoft Edge. No help. Tried different Win 10 computer. No help. Hint: If I click in the hyperlinked data box and leave the curser there for about 3 minutes, I get a message that says, "can't find web page....." It can't find the hyperlinked web page when called for in Excel but OK if called from Firefox. What could that mean?

- nimeshtIron ContributorHi Art,
Do you mean the page is opening in Firefox but not in Edge?
Can you share the URL here? Is the data available on a publicly available webpage or requires you to login and then access it?- towslee1Copper ContributorSame problem in both Firefox and Microsoft Edge. I would like to send you my Excel file to see if you have the same issue I have. If you do, then it must be a setup option issue in my Excel prograwm. I do not know how to send you an attachment. Give me instructions and I will be sure to send you a copy.

This is very strange problem. All of my links used to work. I don't remember changing anything but now none work. I'm using Excel 2007. Trying to hyperlink web pages publically available at DigiKey, a large electronics parts company. When I click on any file, it turns from blue to red as it should but instead of going to the web URL, it does nothing. Tried reloading Excel and using Firefox and Microsoft Edge. No help. I went through 3 suggested possible fix suggestions from a web location in the "proffing section of Excel. No help. Made sure I didn't have any spaces or # symbols in hyperlink. No help. I called hyperlink URL from Firefox and Edge directly and it goe3s to the web page OK.
Attached is my Excel bill of material for a product I'm working on. Column G has all of my distributor part numbers with imbedded hyperlinks. None of these work now but used to when I double click on them. Now they do nothing except change the item from blue to red. If you can make them work, it MUST be a setup issue on my end but I've gone through every combination I could think of with no good result. Any suggestions?
