Merging rows for a daily report -

I have a report that is created daily and was wondering if there is a way to easily format it without merging cells by hand.   For job #s that match the information is identical for each row except for the customer as we want to know every customer that is bidding on a job.  I merge all the cells in the rows by hand except for the Customer.

I have attached a rough example of what we start with and what we have been ending with.  Looking for ideas on how to automate as much as possible since it typically runs 4 - 5 pages.

It's not easy to get exactly what you're after.  Merging cells, especially rows is not something that is easy to set up.

My approach from a simplicity viewpoint would be to add a pivot table (see attached file) and then you can simply right click on it and select refresh to update it.

Also turn your source data into a Table (click on it and press Ctrl+T).  That way when you add new data to your source the Pivot Report will automatically pick it up
