Makros not aktivating after saving on OneDrive

Hi all,

I saved an excel file for calculations on OneDrive with lots of markos. I bought this excel software externally to support my tax procedure, but unfortunatelly after re-opening again the file doens't work with the markos again. I also could't find a manuall re-activation for the markos, it just seems that they are completely blocked. This is crucial as in the other "sides" of the file I already saved lots of information and currently I hav no access to them at all any more. Can someone please  help me out. Thanks in advance.

    Does it work if you save-as the file to a local folder on your PC?
    Please note that macros do not work when a file is opened in a browser window.

      Yes already tried that. Downloaded the file and saved it locally on my Mac, no markros working either. Even no question asking during opening about it.

        I'm no Mac user and I do not own one so it is hard for me to advise I'm afraid. Can you check in Excel options what your macro security is set to? Also, which exact version of Excel are you using? Excel 2008 for Mac did not support VBA.
