making calculations between 2 cells if another cell meets criteria.

G'day all.

Im stuck on a formula that will divide one cell value by another, only if a different cell contains a certain text. J10 divided by H10 only if C10 drop down list says "TRADE" but if its blank or another dropdown text is chosen the cell can stays blank

E.G. =SUM(C:C="TRADE",(H10/J10)

      Thank you, I've just amended my question as i realised there was another issue

        =IF(C10="TRADE",J10/H10,"")

        Doesn't this formula return the expected results? The cells in column K remain empty if there is another entry than "TRADE" in column C.
