Make Excel Office 365 open at cell A1? Or create a hyperlink to it?

brccoll , you are welcome
Has &activeCell='Form1'!A1 stopped working now.
Can't seem to get it to open in A1 cell on a specific tab anymore.
Tab name is correct and I've tried a couple of browsers

But if I replaced A1 with C1, it then worked perfectly. Not sure if this is the problem with your spreadsheet.

I'm not exactly sure why but I think one of the issues was using the 'share' button to get the office365 workbook link, didn't seem to always work nicely with this suffix added?
Just copying the URL straight out of the browser URL window and then adding the &activeCell='Sheet1'!A1 at the end, seemed to be more reliable?- JohnJackmanFeb 08, 2023Copper Contributor
when i mindlessly appended &activeCell='Sheet1'!A1 at the end of the url it did not work for me. in my situation, my A1 is part of a frozen and merged blob of cells. but my B7 is a clean unfrozen unmerged cell. Also, my sheet is not labelled "Sheet1"...it is labelled "PricePage".......so to make it work for me, i simply appended the following code: &activeCell='PricePage'!B7..................great thanks to everyone in this forum

Thank you for testing. Must be something odd going on this end.
