Does the problem persist after quitting Excel (saving the workbook if necessary), then reopen the workbook?
If you now right-click the button and select Assign Macro... from the context menu, is the macro already listed in the Macro name box?
Yes. The macro is listed and I can sellect it, but after that the button just does nothing after selecting it and pressing OK.
