Mac/Excel

I am having trouble opening a document that was sent me by my boss because I do not have excel on my MacBook. She has told me (and our team) that we have the capability to use Office365 to edit the excel spreadsheet however I cannot figure out how to get the document she made to my excel account. We are not allowed to use Google Sheets due to confidentiality issues so I need to get this fixed soon. I have tried to copy and paste her sheet into a new one, but it is not working. If anyone has any advice I am all ears!

  • Kayla_Carter - I think you have a few options.

    1. If you have an Office 365 subscription, you can go to Office.com and sign in.  Then you can click the Install Office link and find some options for installing Office on your computer. 

    2. If your account doesn't include the desktop apps, then you can click on OneDrive, then upload the file from your boss. Once it's uploaded, you can open it in Excel for the web.
