Hi Jeff,
Using File --> Save As to make a copy of the source workbook results in external references in the dependent workbook to pick up the name of the newly made source workbook.
You can get rid of this by simply making a copy of the source workbook using CTRL + C, and the renaming it by double clicking the file name or pressing F2; instead of using File --> Save As to rename the workbook.
Or you can use the earlier solution: moving the source workbook to a different folder.
