Linked cell for activex combo box

Hey there guys how are you all doing ? Am facing in issue that took me ages. So I have created an active combo box with the list of range containing 0.03, 0.04 and 0.1. And selected cell is b5. Then when I preform a calculation like =B5*5 the result is #value. Then I discovered that the number are in text. I tried to change it to number but I could not find a way. Does anyone have any idea on how to change those text “0.03” to a number format ?
