Link Spreadsheets using Excel Online

Hello all,

I have been following the User Voice (https://excel.uservoice.com/forums/274580-excel-for-the-web/suggestions/10366332-links-between-spreadsheets-in-excel-online) regarding the possibility of, one day, receiving the ability to link spreadsheets using Excel Online - this is similar to the importrange() function in Google Sheets. The obvious use-case-specific answer to this feedback would be to use Google Sheets but, seeing as how a Microsoft representative noted that there is some progress being made, I'd like to know how that's going before giving up and recommending a migration from O365.

Anyone know an ETA or has a site where devs are tracking the progress?
