Link entire pivot column to separate excel table
Hi all you tech-geniuses! So I have an issue where I want to link an entire row from a pivot table to a column in a separate Excel worksheet.
So in the pivot table I have "Total assets" for instance, and I want that entire row of total assets linked to a Excel worksheet Column without manually linking each separate one.
This is probably super easy but I have tried googling for a long while and I guess I'm just dumb haha, really thankful for any help.

Quite a bit of clarification is still needed, I think, before final definitive help can be offered.
- To be clear right at the start, your headline talks about linking an entire column in the Pivot Table to a separate sheet; in the body of your inquiry, though, you make reference to an entire row in the Pivot Table. Which is it?
- Secondly, you want to link. Links can go either direction, either end of the linkage service as "source" or "destination." Presumably, you mean for the row/column of the Pivot Table to be the source, but that then elicits further questions
- The next time you update the Pivot Table, what's to happen with the data that had been linked?
- Where does the data in the Pivot Table come from in the first place?
- Might it make more sense to do the links from that original source material, and somehow date stamp both ends of the linkage?
And so forth.
I think what I'm really getting at is that the whole situation needs a more complete description: What's the context from which you are asking? What's the basic Input to a process here? What's the Output desired? What happens in between Input and Output? And so forth.
Is it possible to post a copy (after stripping it of identifiable/confidential data) of your workbook on OneDrive or GoogleDrive, with a link pasted here that grants access to it?
