Keyboard shortcut for fill down not working in Excel
Ctrl+D shall work on any version. Perhaps you have another software which uses this shortcut and bloks it for Excel? Try in safe mode.
Sergei can it also be in the keyboard layout? why does it work with CTRL U...weird.
With CTR D it never worked for me as far as I can remember, even if I have to admit that I hardly dealt with it.
As you say, it could also be due to the add ins, have to check that again, thanks for the tip.

Thank you for sharing how your version of Microsoft Office Excel maps out the keyboard shortcuts within Microsoft Office. I currently use the German Language Package for all of my personal use (preferred after a study-abroad in Germany) and I found that Ctrl+U is also the keyboard shortcut for when I want to fill information down. This is related to "Nach unten Ausfüllen" and serves as the mnemonic command thereby. Additionally, when I want to make bold-face or italic print, I have to use Ctrl+Shift+F or Ctrl+Shift+K, respectively. The letter "F" denotes "fett" related to "fat" in English or bold print and "K" denotes "kursiv"; however, Ctrl+X, Ctrl+C, and Ctrl+V remain unchanged.
I hope that this helps!

I'm on English keyboard in English (UK) locale, if you use different one perhaps it could be different shortcut.
