Keep frozen panes frozen.
I have large worksheets in database format. I would like to keep the top row and left column frozen unless I deliberately unfreeze them. But Excel keeps unfreezing the setting for reasons I don't und...
Excel certainly used to keep them frozen, but recently it's not behaving that way. I never unfreeze the panes for these particular worksheets, But Excel does, and I don't know why--just wish it would stop, as it is so tedious refreezing the panes over and over and over again.
I don't know if this is the reason for your problem, but what annoys me is that Freeze Panes seems to be a window setting, so that if you open a new window in the same workbook, your prior Freeze Panes settings are not carried into the new window, and you have to reset them. I find this very frustrating.
