Issue selecting cells in Microsoft Excel

Hi,

since i bought a new laptop (lenovo legio 5 pro 16ACH6H) in november 2021 i have been having this issue witch microsoft excel, once i've spent some time working on a file it suddenly starts picking the wrong cell that a i intend to click. Instead, it selects the 3rd or 4th cell to the right of the one i am clicking. I recorded a small video as proof but cant upload it here, if it helps. It happens on most of the files i work on.

 

Ive tried uninstalling every .COM addon o complement but the issue persists. Its actually really frustrating since i work everyday with excel files, to the point im considering switching to Libreoffice for me and my whole company.

 

Any solution or advice will be appreciated

    Also happens whenever i use mouse or pad, so its not related to hardware in that sense.

      Hey, any luck in getting a response from Microsoft on this? I have the exact same issue, and I sent them my document, per their request. No response since, and wondering if anyone else out there has been successful in getting one.

        no response at all from Microsoft. Its absolutley disatrous since i mainly use this PC for work. It happens on most files i work on (no matter if created by me or sent by another person). I must close the file or switch tabs in order for it to temporarily fix but after few operations the issue reappears. At this point i expect nothing from the support team, so im arranging to fully migrate my company to use all google solutions including google sheets and i'd advice you to do the same if you can.
