Invoicing
First time creating a worksheet.
1st item: How to get "invoice #" to automatically advance each time I click "NEW".
2nd item: How to get current date to auto insert.
Thank you!

If those are your only two questions, congratulations.
But having said that, you might want to give us a bit more to work with. Ideally, you'd post a copy of the worksheet in its current state, posting it on OneDrive or GoogleDrive, with a link here that would grant access. That would help because, as shouldn't come as a surprise, how you've arranged the worksheet, what other info is going to be entered, where , etc. .... all those things might affect the answers to your two questions.
Do you expect to keep a history of invoices? If so, you might want to begin by creating a database, containing the "raw data" for each invoice, and then create and print the actual invoices by drawing the data from that database. That would then influence how the Invoice # and date would be handled.
So in addition to providing access to an actual copy of the current workbook, perhaps you could back up and describe the context--the business--in which this worksheet is going to be used.
