Integrating toolbar between VBA and Javascript Excel Add-ins

Hello Microsoft community!

We have an existing Add-in written in VBA that is deployed and shipping. We are creating a new Add-in using Javascript/React. We have a requirement to integrate the toolbar elements between the two plug-ins. Looking for information how to accomplish this.
