inserting columns

I have been using excell for years and all of a sudden trying to insert column, it comes back saying " can't insert new cells because it would push non-empty cells off the end of the worksheet------", need help

    You might be having data or blank record outside of your table, pls check and delete the same

      Hi 

      I have similar problem and when using end>home I am taken to last column of the spreadsheet- cell XFD2865. I have tried deleting columns, removing all formats, but nothing works
      I use office 365 and my worksheet uses only up to cell BD10000
      Do you have any suggestion?
